Office Policies

I am generally in the the office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.  I generally see patients from 1 pm until 8 pm on these days.  I usually schedule 90 minutes for an initial evaluation and 30 minutes for a follow up medication management appointment.  

I  do provide a reminder email or phone call one day prior to your appointment.   If you do need to cancel your appointment without 24 hours notice I do charge  a $75 fee for this.   You will also need to have an appointment in order to get refills.    All patients must be seen at least 2 times per year in order to be considered a patient of record.   I do not reschedule a patient more than once for the same appointment.   If a patient has three no show appointments  I will discharge the patient from my practice.

I am a provider with several insurance companies including:

Aetna
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield
Cigna
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
United Behavioral Health Care
United Health Care 

You should bring any insurance you wish to use on your first visit.  I will submit it to the insurance company for you.  If you have a copay this can be paid in cash, check or American Express, Discover, Visa or Mastercard.  I generally do not have change available so if  you choose to bring cash exact change is appreciated.

I try to answer all phone cals within 24 hours.  Please allow 48 hours for your prescrioption to be called to your pharmacy.  Please check with your pharmacy to see if your prescription is ready for filling.
 Although I love children I ask that you not bring them to your appointment.  My office is not childproofed.  I often need to discuss adult topics related to current and past symptoms as well as side effects.  It can be distracting for the discussion and difficult to touch on all important matters with children present.
